Rumbaugh calls Gruen "An A+ Student of Primates"

The following blog was submitted by Dr. Duane M. Rumbaugh, scientist emeritus at Great Ape Trust.
The Minnesota Public Radio program that aired today was wonderful! Dr. Sue and Sara Gruen provided listeners with an accurate and sound communication about bonobos and their interactions with those responsible to their lives and well being. It was a winner of a program and educational lesson in how new dimensions of intelligence, communication, and language origins can be better understood. Sue merits grand applause and stable support for her research and uniquely productive career. Her work will have, I believe, a lasting and constructive impact upon the world and its inhabitants.
Please forward my congratulations and sincere appreciation to Sara Gruen and to Sue, both of whom are A+ students of primates. They make a powerful team that holds promise of changing the world's view of apes, bonobos, humans, and research!
