Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA)

Great Ape Trust of Iowa is a certified member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). AZA has a conservation endowment that funds peer-reviewed conservation-useful research and conservation action by staff members and collaborators of AZA organizations.

This endowment has provided $3 million to 190 projects since its founding in 1991. The Trust is a contributor to this effort.
